Government restrictions of all alpine events are cancelled in the province of BC. The board of directors of the MBAC have decided to cancel programs for the 2020-2021 season to reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
We technically do not have enough coaches to provide a safe program for a coach to skier/boarder ratio which is a safety concern for all involved in our programs. The safety of our coaches and club membership is our number one priority in this difficult time of the pandemic. We hope you all understand the position the club is in but it is the right hard decision that has been made for the safety of all. With the increase in transmission across the province, now is the time to social distance and wear a mask.
Please be safe and enjoy time with your family this ski season. With a vaccine in the near future, the next year will be something to look forward to. Until then, have a safe and happy holidays with your family.
